PostNord is rebranding international trade

The Swedish-Danish postal group PostNord has combined all its various international operations into one business unit under common management. With this, the company wants to strengthen its leading position on the market.

PostNord is a postal group that offers many services. Based in Scandinavia, it is known for its delivery services and network of parcel boxes. The company also handles cross-border shipments and offers warehousing and forwarding services.

Three units in one

All three of the company’s units with operations outside the Nordic countries (PostNord Germany, PostNord Worldwide Connect and Direct Link) are now all combined into one business unit called PostNord International. Direct Link was previously a business unit focused on fulfillment services.

“The establishment of PostNord International shows the group’s initiative to adapt to its international growth potential”

In recent years, the company has increasingly focused on expanding its international scope. For example, it has spread beyond the Nordic countries. According to PostNord, the creation of PostNord International represents an initiative to adapt to this growth potential. Consolidation will allow the group to leverage synergies, optimize resources and deliver greater value to customers.

“We want to become the market leader”

“We are excited about the international opportunities that lie ahead and strongly believe that PostNord International will play a key role in realizing our ambition to become a market leader,” says Kim Pedersen, Chief PostNord International. “Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and through a shared commitment across the wider PostNord organization, we will continue to deliver products and services that exceed their expectations.”
